Dalby Court is based within the Coulby Newham area of Middlesbrough close to local amenities, a shopping centre and leisure centres. A local bus route is in operation.
Dalby court consists of 10 single persons self contained flats with their own front door. We work in partnership with the Landlord Tees Valley Housing. Dalby Court provides accommodation to vulnerable adults with mental health problems. Monday to Sunday 9-5 and a helpline is available out of hours where an on call system is in place. The aim of the service is to maximise the independence levels of tenants, by providing a safe secure and supportive environment in which the rights of individuals are respected.
The flats are self contained and are fully furnished to a high standard.
A key-working system is in place and individual support plans are developed in partnership with tenants, which is evaluated and regularly reviewed to enable tenants to lead more independent lifestyle. Tenants receive one to one key working time as well as more informal support. Staff have a wide Variety of qualifications, training and skills enabling them to offer a wide range of support.
Tenants will receive ongoing support, with respect to housing management and daily living skills. The fundamental objective being, to give tenants the opportunity to manage a tenancy, by encouraging social integration and the development of structured lifestyle, which is founded upon informed decision making and enhanced social, education and occupational opportunities.
In addition to the above, the service also operates a generic floating support service to individuals living within their own homes who require support for a variety of needs including mental health, substance abuse, physical health and learning disabilities.
