What we offer
If you’ve got a mental health problem and want to get back into work or need support to stay in work then we’re here to help you.
We can work with you to understand your situation and tailor our support to meet your needs and aspirations.
- One to one advice and support
- Support to find paid work, become self employed or set up a social enterprise
- Job coaching and in-work support
- Support in negotiating reasonable adjustments with your employer and help in getting back to your job after being off sick
We also work with employers to raise their awareness of mental wellbeing in the workplace and what they can do to support their employees.
We provide our support through one to ones, group work, phone, online and email.
Our employment advisors are specifically trained to recognise and work with individuals with mental health problems and they concentrate on what you can do rather than on what you can’t.
They’re available on week days, weekends and evenings and work out of a number of local locations such as mental health Bristol hubs, community centres and libraries and GP surgeries.
Our teams are fully integrated with Bristol’s existing mental health provision and mainstream employment services to make sure we’re all working together to provide joined-up and comprehensive support for you.
We also work closely with Job Centre Plus and major local employers to maximise the employment opportunities available to you.
Who we are
Locally we’re working in partnership with Richmond Fellowship, Bristol Somali Resource Centre and Windmill Hill City Farm to maximise local opportunities and meet the needs of Bristol’s diverse communities.
