Learning and Development
Mental Health Matters recognises that the future growth and success of our organisation depends largely upon the competencies, skills, knowledge and motivation of all our human resources; i.e. staff, board members, service users, families and friends, volunteers and members. We believe in recognising people’s skills and knowledge and developing people through structured training and development.
Mental Health Matters is an ‘Investors in People’ organisation. We seek to provide personal training and development opportunities to enhance the competence and motivation of each individual to ensure that our business can continue to meet the needs of people using our services.
All staff at Mental Health Matters undergo a thorough Induction to the organisation, their particular service and their particular role. This is achieved through various methods including face to face training; online training, shadowing and coaching.
Throughout your career with Mental Health Matters you will participate in regular appraisal reviews and personal development planning to help you achieve personal growth. The Learning and Development team are committed to ensuring that staff are fully supported throughout their time at Mental Health Matters.
