Brian StenhouseBrian joined Mental Health Matters in 2005, having previously gained substantial experience in both the commercial and ‘not for profit ‘sectors through the various senior finance positions he held. He also completed his accountancy studies during that time.

Brian’s current role involves ensuring quality finance systems and controls are in place enabling the integrity and accuracy of financial information used in both strategic and operational decision making. He also provides direct support in the tendering processes, ensuring financial modelling tools are in place to support pricing in an increasingly competitive market place.

Brian prepares the annual report and accounts ensuring the statutory requirements of both the Charity Commission and Companies House are strictly adhered to.

Brian has recently introduced a corporate risk management system within the Organisation and is currently working on evolving this to provide the necessary tools to ensure risk management is both embedded and continually monitored in everyday activities throughout the whole organisation.
