The Road Ahead... A guide to dealing with the impact of suicide

Over the past year, Helen Mackay, Mental Health Matters Chief Operating Officer, has been working with Shirley Smith of If U Care Share to produce “The Road Ahead – a guide to dealing with the impact of suicide”. 

The primary aim of the booklet is to provide information and support to help individuals and families whose lives have been affected by a suicidal death.  The booklet has been designed to provide guidance and support through the grieving process, and offers an insight into the emotional issues faced daily by those touched by suicide.
